신입생 입시 요강

1.  자격요건:  고등학교 졸업자로서 시민권자 혹은 영주권인자.  3년이상 거주한 자 중 텍사스내 고등학교 졸업자

2.  지원
2-1.  Apply Texas 홈페이지를 통해서 원서 제출 
2-2.  The Coalition을 통해서도 제출 가능

3.  필수 서류
3-1.  모든 서류는 마감일 이전에 도착하여야 한다.
3-2.  에세이:  Topic A.  1페이지 혹은 1페이지 반 정도의 길이로 작성.  다른 에세이는 접수 안됨.  원서제출할 때 같이 제출.
3-3.  원서비용:  $75.  원서 제출시 같이 결제
3-4.  Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR):  All freshmen applicants must complete a SRAR with a few exceptions.* Applicants create the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) using their official high school transcript. The SRAR lists the courses and associated grades that have been completed, or will be completed, for high school and/or college credit. It replaces the high school transcripts used by the Office of Admissions during the initial admission process in most cases. Applicants will enter their courses, grades, class rank (if provided on transcript), weighted GPA, and graduation plan in the SRAR. Since accuracy is critical, you must have a copy of your high school transcript available to use as a reference when you create your SRAR. The SRAR cannot be submitted prior to the application but you can and should work on it as soon as possible. It must be submitted and linked with your application by December 15. 

*All freshmen applicants must complete the SRAR except the following:  Applicants not completing high school in the U.S. GED graduates Students who have already graduated from high school

If a rank is not provided by the high school for students to enter in their SRAR a rank will be assigned. 

텍사스 고등학교 졸업자 중 상위 10%는 관련 증명서를 TREx 나 AIS를 통해서 반드시 제출해야 한다.

3-4.  공인 SAT 혹은 ACT 성적:  주관 에이전시를 통해서 성적표 제출.  최고성적만 제출하며 되며 에세이나 기타 작문 성적은 필요 없음.  에이전시를 통한 접수가 통상 2-4주가 걸리는 것을 고려해서 성적표를 신청해야 함

4.  기타
4-1.  공대 지원자:  공대 지원자는 원서 제출 중 공학관련 간단한 질문을 받을 수 있음.  해당학과를 지원하게 된 동기와 학문적 혹은 지로와 관련한 목표가 무엇인지, 그리고 그 목표에 영향을 끼친 사람이나 계기를 설명하여야 한다.
4-2.  고등학교 필수 교과 과정 (텍사스내 사립고등학교 대상)
4-3.  시민권자가 아닌 지원자는 영주권 사본을 제출해야 한다.
4-4.  3년 이상 거주한 텍사스 고등학교 졸업자는 Senate Bill 1528 Affidavit 을 제출해야 한다.

5.  선택사항
5-1.  Letters of Recommendation:  추천서.  2장 이상 제출하여도 심사는 최초 접수된 2장만 검토 함.
5-2.  Resume:  원서 접수 공란이 부족한 경우에 한하여 제출 가능

6.  접수 기한
6-1.  2020년 봄학기:  2019년 7월 1일 - 2019년 10월 15일
6-2.  2020년 가을학기:  2019년 7월 1일 - 2019년 12월 1일
6-3.  가을학기 공대지원자 Early Action 마감일:  10월 15일

롤링 방식원서 접수.  따라서 빨리 제출하면 유리하고, 결과도 빨리 나옴.  원서 제출 후 3일 만에 통지오는 경우도 있음.
